The information and links in this article relate specifically to users in your organization who have an Approval role.

Creating a Quote for your Proposal describes how to add the line items, quantities, and any applicable discounts to be quoted in the proposal.

Reviewing and Approving Proposals describes how approvers can review proposals and quotes and choose whether to approve or deny them.

Note:

Approvers have additional access/control over quotes that goes beyond the seller's access. For instance, when a quote is submitted for approval, the quote gets locked (pending approval). During this time (until the approver takes action), the seller cannot edit the quote (this is by design). However, an approver can still edit this quote.

Approvers can modify quotes that are pending approval (and hence in a locked state).
