# How do I search for entries?

Using Mobileforce, you enter the desired word(s), alpha-numeric string, into the **Search** field at the top of the page (highlighted in Green in the graphic below) and press the **ENTER** key.

Mobileforce will search for the string in individual text fields of the currently displayed columns, and display the matching entries in the table.

**Example:**

If the **Opportunity** column was hidden in the graphic, then the **Bay Funding Co** entry would not be displayed.
