The Settings menu displays the current version of the app, and allows you to:
- View any current notifications for your apps.
- Contact Mobileforce Support regarding an issue with the application.
- Logout of the Mobileforce app or change the account currently logged into the app.
Note:
The options displayed on the Settings Menu are dependent on whether your mobile devices uses iOS or Android as its operating system.
Mobileforce Field Service App
The Mobileforce Mobile FSM app is typically used by the following roles:
- Technicians review existing service task appointments, as well as any additional information and documents that need to be viewed in the field, specific to each organization.
- Agents can review work orders, service tasks, and opportunities, as well as the associated accounts and contacts.
- Dispatchers can review accounts, appointments, and existing contracts; however, the schedule and dispatch functions are not included in the mobile app.
- Service account users, such as independent contractors, can review and update Mobileforce FSM objects, but only users with access to the source CRM application can update these objects.
- Admin users can review Mobileforce objects, as any other Mobileforce user, but they cannot perform any admin functions from the mobile app.
Note:
The Mobile App for FSM has been primarily designed for Technicians who are out in the field. However, the FSM mobile app does not directly allow users to directly connect to the source CRM, so the main use case for Agents and Dispatchers is for out-of-office convenience.
