# Setting up and Configuring Connected Portal

Mobileforce Connected Portals can be set up for SugarCRM, Hubspot, or Zendesk as follows:

1. Configure authentication to be datatable authentication.
2. Since portal users are authenticated on EasyCLM, rather than the underlying CRM, datatable authentication against EasyCLM users is as follows:

## Code snippet

```none
<authentication>
    <input disabled="" format="" help="" hidden="" label="Email" listitems="" max="" maxlength="" min="" name="email" nonempty="" onsameline="" placeholder="" prefix="" readonly="" required="1" rows="" size="" step="" suffix="" type="email" unique="" value=""/>
    <input disabled="" format="" help="" hidden="" label="Password" listitems="" max="" maxlength="" min="" name="password" nonempty="" onsameline="" placeholder="" prefix="" readonly="" required="1" rows="" size="" step="" suffix="" type="password" unique="" value=""/>
</authentication>
```

The following ADL props are used:

## Code snippet

```none
https://apps.mobileforcesoftware.com/adapters/easyclm/schema.php#User
<prop key="auth-datatable-filter">AND login='loginEnabled'</prop>
```

In addition to this, only for Zendesk Sell, you must also add these ADL properties:

## Code snippet

```none
<prop key="auth-allow-service-login">1</prop>
<prop key="auth-service-login-param-prefix">zendesk-</prop>
<prop key="oauth-service-override-mobile-zendesk-">oauth-override-value</prop>
```

Where the value of the 'oauth-service-override-mobile-zendesk-‘ property is the User ID of the **service user** that will be used to authenticate Zendesk sell with. You can find this user id in the MFM users page.

**Note:**

- Zendesk OAuth access for partner users will not work until one does a OAuth login as the service user at least once. This is because our platform is using the OAuth access/refresh tokens of this service user. For the partner users, and you must log in as that service user to populate it in our database.

- This set-up assumes that Zendesk Sell Oauth refresh tokens don’t expire. If they do, (on some platforms, they expire in 1-2 weeks), we will need to find an alternative solution.

- In Mobileforce ADL, portals are named applets and the ID is in the short name attribute. Please ensure that there is only one portal.

- If you have multiple portals, then the Accounts show the portal selection screen after login. This occurs if a user has access to multiple portals. If you don’t want this behavior, set the ACLs for each portal so that users will only have access to one portal.

- These instructions are only good for Zendesk Sell accounts. Zendesk Support accounts have different APIs and authentication methods. We will need to validate Zendesk Support at some other time.

- Zendesk’s documentation says that they support the password OAuth grant type. But this grant type is not working. Hence the need for special casing for Zendesk.
